"PohelaParbon 2025" Book Launch Ceremony by GoppobagishProkashoni Showcases 27 New Titles

 

                                                         

On June 15, 2025, a significant literary event unfolded at the Yogesh Mime Academy in Kolkata with the launch of "KobitarSagore", Volumes I and II, authored by noted Bengali poet Suprakash Palit and published by GoppobagishProkashoni.

The first volume features 526 poems across 1,248 pages, while the second volume contains 732 poems spanning 926 pages. In total, an astounding 1,278 poems have been published across these two volumes — a remarkable testament to the poet’s literary depth and dedication.

Suprakash Palit, a well-known name in contemporary Bengali literature. He has been awarded the prestigious "Kolom Gourab Somman 2025" by GoppobagishProkashoni for his outstanding contributions to Bengali literature. This release marks a monumental milestone in Palit's prolific literary journey. To date, Suprakash Palit has composed over 6,800 poems, a number that continues to grow. His work spans a wide spectrum of themes, styles, and emotions, capturing the complexities of modern life while staying rooted in the lyrical richness of Bengali poetry.
