Hyderabad: Neela Sangameshwar Gupta has stepped down from his role as Director of Operations – Telangana State at Delhivery, marking the conclusion of a notable 2.5-year tenure with the logistics major.
During his time with Delhivery, Neela led significant
operational expansion in the region, doubling
the company’s capacity in Hyderabad and spearheading the digital transformation of its express parcels process.
Under his leadership, the Telangana operations successfully navigated multiple
high-volume festive seasons, including the Diwali
peak, strengthening Delhivery’s market share and efficiency across key
logistics corridors.
Prior to joining Delhivery, Neela built a diverse leadership
portfolio across Mahindra &
Mahindra’s vehicle operations, and held multiple roles at Amazon, both in India and the United Kingdom, where he contributed to scaling
large-scale fulfilment and transport operations programs.
An alumnus of the Indian
Institute of Management, Calcutta, Neela is recognized for his expertise in
operations strategy, digital transformation, and people centric leadership.
Commenting on his exit, Neela said, “It’s been an immensely fulfilling journey at Delhivery one that tested
and strengthened our collective capabilities as a team. I’m proud of what we
achieved in the region and grateful for the collaboration and trust that made
it possible.”
While future plans remain under wraps, industry observers
note that his next move is likely to continue his focus on technology-led
operational excellence.
