Sarangpur, also spelled Salangpur, refers to two distinct locations in India, each with its unique significance:

Sarangpur, Gujarat:

Sarangpur is a village located in the Botad District of Gujarat, India. It is renowned for its religious importance, primarily due to the following temples:

Shri Kashtabhanjan Hanumanji Temple: This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman in his form as Kashtabhanjan, meaning "Crusher of Sorrows." It is part of the Vadtal Gadi of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. Devotees believe that worshipping here fulfills their wishes and alleviates hardships.

BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir: Established in 1916 by Shastri Yagnapurushdas, this temple stands at 108 feet, aligning with the auspicious number in the Swaminarayan tradition. It serves as a training center for newly enrolled monks (sadhus) and houses the Smruti temples of Shastri Yagnapurushdas and Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

The village is also noted for its peacock population, as "Sarang" translates to "peacock" in Gujarati, making it "the place where peacocks live." Annually, thousands of devotees visit Sarangpur, especially during festivals like Holi, to seek blessings and experience its spiritual ambiance.
